What are the Evaluation User Roles & Access Level Definitions
District Administrator (District/Corporation Level)
District Administrators can be granted access to all levels of users across the
corporation. Access can be as liberal as “all users” and as granular as “select users”.
District Administrators can view, perform observations, and complete year-end
summative reviews on all users to which they have been granted access. District
Administrators can run reports and have limited abilities to modify Staff accounts.
Head Administrator (Building Level)
Head Administrators can view, perform observations, and complete year-end
summative reviews on all building level Assistant Administrators, Supervisors,
Evaluators, and Staff. Head Administrators can run reports and also have limited
abilities to modify Staff accounts.
Assistant Administrator (Building Level)
Assistant Administrators can view, perform observations, and complete year-end
summative reviews on all building level Supervisors, Evaluators, and Staff.
Supervisor (Building Level)
Supervisors can view and perform observations only on select staff. Supervisors
can also perform year-end summative employee reviews.
Evaluator (Building Level)
Evaluators can view and perform observations only on select staff. Evaluators
cannot perform year-end summative employee reviews.
Staff – Certified (All Levels)
Certified Staff are typically licensed and are in direct contact with students in a
supervisory or instruction role. Teachers and Counselors are primary examples of
Certified Staff.
Staff – Classified (All Levels)
Classified Staff are typically unlicensed support staff that do not have direct contact
with students in a supervisory or instruction roles. Custodians and Office Staff are
primary examples of Classified Staff.
SuperUser (All Levels)
SuperUsers are the highest level of site and account administration in Evaluation. SuperUser status is non-exclusive and can be granted to any user in Evaluation, typically one or two District Administrators. SuperUsers have access to all personnel files within Evaluation. This designation can only
be assigned by Evaluation tech support and requires approval from senior corporation
administrators.
SuperTech (All Levels)
SuperTechs have limited account administration in Evaluation.
SuperTech status is exclusive and can only be granted to non-administrative Staff.
SuperTechs are primarily used for account maintenance and do not have access to
personnel files within Evaluation. This designation can only be assigned
by Evaluation tech support and requires approval from senior corporation administrators.
SiteTech (Building Level)
SiteTechs have limited account administration in Evaluation. SiteTechs
are confined to the staff within the building in which they are assigned. SiteTechs
are primary used for account maintenance and do not have access to personnel
records unless they are also assigned an evaluative role. This designation can only
be assigned by Evaluation tech support.
Guest Evaluators (Non-Users)
Guest Evaluators do not have accounts within EAI Evaluation. A Guest Evaluator is a person that is invited by the Staff or Administrator to perform an evaluation on a Staff member. Guest Evaluators cannot see personnel files and have access limited only to the one specific evaluation requested. All access to Evaluation is rescinded upon completion of the evaluation or at request of the Staff or Administrator.
