Manage Diploma Types (Texas)

The Manage Diploma Types page will allow the school to add to the minimum requirements needed for each diploma type offered in the state. The approved diploma types in the state are listed as “Stock” diplomas. However, each one can be edited (only added to but not minimized) and customized for a school’s specific needs. Additional diploma types can be created by the school as well.

Clicking on “Edit” next to a diploma type will display the minimum state requirements for that particular diploma type (see below). Hours can be adjusted higher but not lower than the hours listed for the diploma requirements. You can also add specific courses to the bottom section of the editor for “required” local credit electives.

Clicking the pencil icon in each grade and subject area below will allow for adjustments to the classes that are most typically taken in that school year for the 4-Year Plan.
