How to Attach Files from Google Drive in Embarc

*Enable Google Drive for attachments must be activated in Administrative Functions-District Options-General Configuration for the Google Drive radio button to appear.  This option is enabled by a System Administrator.

  1. Enable Edit Mode

  2. Select the Google Drive radio button on add attachment screens (click here for a complete list)

  3. Click the Select (with the Google logo) button

  4. Navigate the Google Drive and select the file(s) to attach

  5. Add an optional display name and/or description

  6. Choose the desired Visible To radio button

  7. Click Add Attachment

*Note: The Display Name field is optional; however, if the Google file link is longer than 50 characters, a display name of less than 50 characters is required. 

Be sure to set the link permissions appropriately in Google as you need them for others to view or edit the file as Embarc simply links the attachment.
