MyPathways Portal (Indiana)

The MyPathways feature will display limited data from the Pathways application through an alternate URL (https://portal.graduationpathways.com) to students and parents/guardians. The District will have the ability to determine which Pathways data is able to be viewed, to whom that data is accessible, add clarifying and district-specific information to displays, and provide pertinent contact information.

• Student Access

  • MyPathways is available to active district students that are listed within Pathways and are 13 years or older. MyPathways is also available for one year to graduated students of the district.

  • All student users must have a birthdate on record in order to verify their age for access (13 years or older).

  • Current students will use their school assigned email addresses as their login. Graduated students will use personal email addresses as set within Pathways.

• Parent/Guardian Access

  • One parent/guardian may have access to multiple students within the same account, per associations provided by the district.

  • Parent/guardians will use the email address provided by the district in the nightly associations upload.

  • Counselors may see which parent/guardians are associated with a student and may remove those associations as needed. Associations may only be created through the nightly upload provided by the district.

• District User Access

  • Counselors may "ghost" a student's account in order to view exactly what the student is able to see.

  • To preview your changes, you can access any student’s MyPathways by navigating to the student’s graduation worksheet and click on the in the upper right.

• Data Manipulation

  • Parents/guardian are largely view-only. Any data gathering that might occur in MyPathways, such as the uploading of documents, completion of forms, and course selections, will typically occur within the student's account.

• Mobile Accessibility

  • MyPathways is configured to work well on mobile devices, including phones.

• Authentication Providers

  • MyPathways will use Microsoft as its authentication provider. Students and parents/guardians with Google or Microsoft personal accounts can log in using those existing credentials. All other users will need to register on our site and manage their own passwords

• Support for MyPathways

  • All users of MyPathways will be directed to the district for any support issues. Issues that the district cannot solve can be escalated to Education Advanced by the counselor or Pathways system administrators.
