How to Inactivate, Remove or Designate a Retiring, Resigning or Non-Retaining Staff Member

For staff on extended leave that will not have a finalization/summative evaluation for the current cycle, you can inactivate the account and resume for the next evaluation cycle.

Inactivate - Marking a staff member as inactive

  • The staff member is still employed by the corporation but is not active, i.e., leave

  • All data is left intact

  • The staff member is removed from all roles and from all data calculations for the current year

  • Inactive staff members will remain inactive on the superuser's list and will continue to
    do so in upcoming school years until either removed or reactivated

Retiring, Resigning, or Non-Retaining at the End of the Evaluation Cycle

  • This staff member will complete this evaluation cycle and will need to go through the finalization process (which may extend into next year)

  • This person will not be renewed next cycle but access to this person next cycle is available to complete the evaluation process if warranted

  • After the evaluation process is complete, to remove access to this person, the status will need to be changed to “Remove from Current Evaluation Cycle”

Remove From Current Evaluation Cycle- Removing a staff member means

  • The staff member is no longer employed by the district

  • All data is intact, and this individual will no longer show up on the current cycle's roster
    or in the current cycle’s data calculations

  • If this person was employed last cycle, the finalization for this staff member will be available

  • The staff member will not be renewed next cycle

How to Reactivate an Inactive User Account

To reactivate a staff member marked as Inactive:
