To make the Test Attributes report work seamlessly, please complete the following:
From the District Menu, go to Accommodations:
o Spanish as a Type: Version
o Large Print as a Type: DS
o Braille as a Type: DS
Once you have deleted these, if you have Auto Pilot, you may need to go to Auto Pilot and remap these to their new "presentation" counterparts.
These accommodations are all being migrated to the Presentation type and will be used in the population of the Cambium reports including the test attributes file.
Within the District Management Accommodations menu, please select Assoc (at the top of the table):
Click the + sign beside the Braille, Large Print, Online, and Spanish designations. Choose the accommodations that would align with those kinds of tests. (You can also set up the Alternate Assessment designation to be sure those students are assigned that kind of booklet, but that is not part of the attributes report)
Ensure that Spanish Online is associated with both the Spanish Association and the Online Association.
Verify that all Online accommodations including STAAR Online are associated with the Online association.
Any accommodation that would trigger an online test should be associated with Online. These accommodations have [Online] at the end of the title. Keep working through the list until you have them all.
Once all accommodations have been associated with the correct designations, you are ready to run the report. IMPORTANT:
All Auto Pilot mapping needs to be done, and campuses need to accept the Auto Pilot alerts before running the report. Students also have to be in a test session for the report to run.
The Test Attributes Report can be accessed from the District or Campus level Reports menu.
Test Attributes/Accommodations Report
Under District Management, go to Reports, select Test Attributes, click Request Test Attributes, choose Administration, and format=Test Attributes then hit Request.
This report is for state assessments
From the district level, if a new attributes report needs to be run for a test administration, delete the original file and select Request Test Attributes to re-run the file.
At the district level, this report will only include the students who need an attribute turned ON. Those accommodations will show with the YES value. If the district loads this report, and then student information changes, the campus will need to change it manually in TIDE or upload the Attributes file from the campus level, which will include ON and OFF (YES or NO)for all students in the test.
Campuses can access the Attributes report from their Reports menu and it functions like any other report. The process is not the same as the district-level report, which was modified to accommodate larger report sizes. At the campus, the report also includes ON and OFF for all students in the test.
