Logging in to Pathways
What is Single Sign-On (SSO) and Okta?
Single Sign-On (SSO) allows you to log in to Pathways and other applications using a single set of credentials. Okta, our chosen SSO solution, simplifies the login process and enhances security. With Okta, you can securely access Pathways without the need to remember multiple usernames and passwords.
What Does This Mean for You?
No Identity Management Provider
If your district is not utilizing an Identity Provider (IdP), you will be seamlessly transitioned to Single Sign-On through Okta. Users not using an identity provider will not see much change other than a freshened-up login page. Rest assured, this transition is designed to simplify your login process and enhance security while ensuring minimal disruption to your routine.
Established Identity Provider
If your district utilizes an established identity provider, simply use your identity provider login. With the new Single-Sign On system, you will no longer need a separate username and password. Instead, you will use your identity provider (Google, Azure, Duo, SAML, etc.) login credentials to access Pathways. This will provide you with a more convenient and seamless login experience.

Logging In
Navigate to the Pathways URL: https://pw1.graduationpathways.com/
Enter your school email address and click Next
*If you are already logged in to your identity provider on your device, you will simply be directed into the Pathways application
How do I Reset My Password?
Reset your password through your Identity Provider (Google, Azure, SAML, Duo, etc.) - see your district technology contact if you need additional assistance
Non-Identity Provider Users
Navigate to the Pathways URL: https://pw1.graduationpathways.com/
Logging in for the First Time
Click “Need help signing in?”
Click “Forgot password?”, then enter school email address and click “Reset via Email”
Follow instructions in received email
Subsequent Logins
Enter your school email address and identity provider password
How do I Reset My Password?
From the Login Page:
Click the “Need help signing in?”, then “Forgot password?”
Enter your school email address, then click “Reset via Email”
Follow the instructions in the received email
From within Pathways:
Navigate to Personal Settings in the upper right hand corner
Click the link that directs you to change your password within Okta
