How to Generate the Professional Development Log

How to Generate and View a Professional Development Log

The Professional Development Log (PDL) allows staff members and evaluators to view a record of professional development activities and tasks.

Note: This feature must be enabled for use within your account. If you are interested, please contact your Customer Success Manager for assistance.


How the Log is Created

When Professional Development Log Information is entered for a Professional Development Task, a log entry is automatically created. Both the staff member and evaluator can access and review these entries.

Viewing as an Evaluator

  1. Navigate to the staff member’s profile page.

  2. Click on the PD: Activities entry.

  3. On the Professional Development Activities page, you can choose to display:

    • All entries

    • A specific year for clarity.

Viewing as a Staff Member

  1. Log in and go to your main staff profile page.

  2. Click on the PD: Activities entry.

  3. On the Professional Development Activities page, you can display:

    • All entries

    • A specific year for clarity.

Additional Staff Features:

  • Staff members can delete PDL entries directly from this view.

  • Staff members can also generate PDFs of their log for convenience.
