How to View Learning Targets Assigned/Not Assigned to a Topic

Learning Targets Tab

  1. Navigate to Curriculum - Courses - Scope and Sequence

  2. Click on Learning Targets at the top of the course

3. Filter by Alphabetic, Unit or Standard depending on your preference

a. Alphabetic – lists the learning targets that haven’t been assigned to topics at the top with “Not Used by a Topic” denoted in red

b. Unit – lists the learning targets as they are assigned by unit; unassigned learning targets are listed at the top

c. Standard – lists the learning targets by the standard they are aligned with; the page icon to the left of the learning target indicates the number of references within the course (no page icon indicates the learning target has not been assigned within the course)

Standards Coverage – Big Picture Report

  1. Navigate to Curriculum – Reports

  2. Click on the Standards Coverage – Big Picture Report

  3. Choose Standard Provider, Standard Set and Grade level

  4. You are given a list by standard of the chosen set, and the courses that have created a learning target from each standard in the set.

    1. First column: "not aligned" in the first column means no learning target has been created and aligned to the standard within that course

    2. Second column: includes where in the course the associated learning targets are – unit/topic, or unassigned.
